Occupational Therapists

Danielle completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) and the University of South Australia, is registered with AHPRA and Occupational Therapy Australia.

Danielle has always had a passion for working with children and young adults, starting with working in child care whilst studying to become an OT. During her time as an OT, Danielle has worked with children and adolescents with varying needs and abilities, with a particular focus on those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Danielle prides herself on working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals and believes that developing therapeutic relationships is the key to success.

Danielle has experience assessing and developing the following skills:

• Play
• Activities of Daily Living

Danielle currently facilitates the Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Program at Headstart. This involves working collaboratively with clients and families to establish their goals and understand which AHA is best suited to meet these needs. Danielle also supports the the AHAs by providing them with professional development and supervision, so they continue to offer a professional goal-oriented and client-focussed service.

Danielle consults at Wayville on a part time basis and via telehealth

Caitlin completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of South Australia. Caitlin is registered with the AHPRA and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Caitlin has a passion for working with children and has relevant experience providing therapeutic interventions for children with a variety of learning difficulties including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Caitlin has experience working within both clinical and school environments.

Caitlin aims to support children to reach their goals and increase independence in activities of daily living by providing an enjoyable and friendly learning environment. Caitlin believes that in order to achieve desired outcomes, building relationships and working collaboratively with families is key.

Caitlin has experience supporting children with:

• Activities of daily living (including sleep and toileting)
• Emotional regulation and Behaviour
• Attention and Concentration

Beth completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of South Australia, is registered with AHPRA and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Beth always knew she wanted a career which would allow her to work with kids, help others, work as part of a team and embrace her playful and energetic nature – she discovered OT and it ticked all her boxes! 

Beth has experience working in the paediatric field and believes that OT is about forming therapeutic relationships built on trust, rapport and respect between the client and their therapist. She is passionate about using the skills she has learned through her studies to form relationships with clients and their families and provide them opportunity to reach their maximum potential at home, school and in a social and community setting.

Beth’s interest areas include supporting the development of:

Beth consults from Gawler

Kimberley completed a Bachelor of Health Science (majoring in Disability and Community Rehabilitation), and a Master of Occupational Therapy at Flinders University. She is an Occupational Therapist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Kimberley works with children, adolescents and young adults with Autism and various co-occurring conditions. She prides herself in building strong therapeutic connections, meeting individuals where they are at in their journey, and partnering with them/loved ones to achieve their goals.

Kimberley administers assessments such as Functional Capacity, Sensory Profile, Fine Motor and Gross Motor. She has experience with supporting individuals experiencing challenges with activities of daily living (incl. routines, sleeping, toileting, dressing etc.), fine and gross motor, executive functioning, sensory processing and emotional regulation.

Kimberley consults at Wayville on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
